Aadi settled beside me, the warmth of his presence radiating as the evening air carried the scent of the water and the rustling of the trees. We sat there, side by side, gazing out at the shimmering surface of the water. The soft ripples glistened under the fading light of the evening, creating an almost ethereal effect as the water danced beneath the dim glow of the lanterns scattered around the area. The soft breeze whispered through the leaves, creating a peaceful symphony with the gentle lapping of the water against the shore. For a while, neither of us spoke.
